We fabricate structural steel in our Ormeau workshop from your project drawings. Our qualified boilermakers cut, fit and weld the steelwork, and forklifts handle the heavy sections around the workshop.
The workshop sits on the M1 between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. When a job also needs welding on site, the same team carries it out with our equipped service vehicles.

Workshop to site
Fabrication and site welding from one team
The boilermakers who fabricate your steel can also carry out welding, modifications and repairs on site. Our service vehicles carry engine-driven welders, generators, oxy-acetylene cutting and heating equipment and grinders, so crews can work without relying on site power.

Can you fabricate from our drawings?
Yes. Send your current drawings with the quote request, along with the scope, quantities and timeframe, and we will review them and provide a quotation.
Do you also weld on site?
Yes. Our crews work on site from service vehicles equipped with engine-driven welders, generators, oxy-acetylene and grinders, for welding, modifications and repairs.
What materials do you work with?
Mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Include the grades and finishes from your specification when you request a quote.
Can you provide safety documentation?
Yes. FSB operates a documented Work Health, Safety and Environment Management System. SWMS and other documents for the scope can be supplied with the quotation or before work starts.
